Repurposed Church Pews for Monroe Street United Methodist [2019]

This community art project repurposed the old church pews that had been used for many services. To honor these pews and the community this church supports, community members, including people from the local neighborhoods, and church members gathered to paint them together. People of all ages were welcome and together these pews were made for use in the community garden.
